Ligustrum Sinensis ‘Chinese Privet’ Bonsai Tree

Ligustrum ‘Chinese Privet’ this is a hardy deciduous plant with small green leaves. They are fast growing and easy to train as bonsai. They can be grown outdoors where they do well. They can also be grown indoors and they need a bright, sunny and not too warm position (around 10°C). If it is kept indoors it will benefit from a spell outside in the summer. 

Variegated forms show better colouration when placed in full sun. 

Water regularly, compost should be kept moist all year round, especially during the growing season.
