Citrus llimencuat is an attractive , easy-to-keep bonsai.
Circus bonsai are grown for their fragrant blossom and beautiful fruit. The fruits remain on the tree for a long time.
Location
These plants are native to Mediterranean or subtropical areas and are tender in temperate areas. They should be kept indoors, in good light, when temperatures fall below 3-5 °C or 37-41°F. In summer place outside in a sunny sheltered position if feasible.
Watering
The watering of your bonsai must never be neglected. Apply water before the soil appears dry – never allow the soil to become completely dry or waterlogged. You may need to water more during the summer months but please observe your tree to decide what’s best given the conditions it is in.
Take care not to wet the flowers.
Pruning
Light pruning only is required for established indoor bonsai. How often will depend on the season and how vigorous the tree is growing.
Feeding
Feed these plants in summer after flowering and again after the fruits have set. Use a weak dose of general fertiliser.
Repotting
Repot your Citrus when it needs it. Possibly every 2-3 of years.
Please Note: The picture is for guidance only. It is not generally possible to send the tree in the picture. Please note that measurements given are approximate not exact. Measurements given are from the bottom of the pot to the top of the tree, the pot colour may also vary from the picture. Due to their nature trees grow and whilst in our care may need pruning, this means the tree that you receive may differ in size to that given in the description. The appearance of the tree may vary depending on the season.
